SAii Phi Phi Island Village embraces sustainability by protecting marine life through its “Save Our Sharks” project and releasing bred clownfish back into the ocean. They actively clean the island, collecting over 8 tons of coastal debris in 2021. The resort prioritizes the local community by employing residents, sourcing from local suppliers, and supporting longtail boat operators. Through their Marine Discovery Centre, they educate guests and locals on environmental responsibility, ensuring a sustainable future for Phi Phi Island.

Marine Conservation: The resort works closely with the Phuket Marine Biological Centre on their “Save Our Sharks” project. They care for juvenile bamboo sharks and their eggs in a dedicated nursery, with over 40 sharks being looked after. They’ve also successfully bred and released over 100 clownfish back into the ocean.
Waste Management: SAii Phi Phi actively participates in waste collection on Koh Phi Phi Don. In 2021 alone, they collected over 8,000 kilograms of coastal debris, helping to keep the island clean.
Local Community Support: The resort supports local businesses by employing community members and using local suppliers whenever possible. They also partner with over 30 families who provide longtail boat services for guests.
